“It’s Not NOT Magic”

when science Becomes Magic

  • There's a reason the Global Wellness Institute pegs the global wellness economy at $6.3 trillion— and it's not green juice. The fastest-growing edge of that economy is what researchers are calling the convergence of health, beauty and science: professional skincare, med-spa, and regenerative aesthetics merging into one cultural meta-category built on longevity, functionality and clinical proof.

  • That's the category K-Beauty medical aesthetics giant Jeisys was born to own — yet was totally unknown in the US. With Near&Dear, I had the opportunity to lead the development of the US positioning, brand architecture and creative strategy to bring Jeisys to the US market. The challenge was significant: how do you unite a broad portfolio of disparate device brands with difficult names into a coherent market entry?

  • Our solution was to anchor the entire brand architecture in the Magician archetype — claiming the high-ground territory of transformation that sits at the emotional core of the category — while simultaneously owning comfort, a key barrier to category expansion.

  • The result: It's Not NOT Magic. A campaign that elevates the entire medical aesthetics category while spotlighting both the transformative technology of Jeisys devices and the skill of the care provider who wields them. Science so remarkable it demands a double negative.
